Use/specification of ferrosilicon particles

    Ferrosilicon particles namely silicon and iron composed of ferroalloy, particle size is smaller than the natural block of ferrosilicon, granular, common particle size specifications are 0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-10mm, 10-50mm, 50-100mm or custom.Its packaging is mostly ton bag packaging, 1000kg/ package.

   The main uses of ferrosilicon particles are as follows:

   (1) Ferrosilicon particles are indispensable deoxidizer in steelmaking industry.In steelmaking, ferrosilicate particles are used for precipitation deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation. Brick iron is also used as alloying agent in steelmaking.

   (2) as reducing agent in ferroalloy production, as inoculant and spheroidizing agent in cast iron industry.
